Super Group warehousing facts
Super Park is the largest outsourced warehousing complex in Southern Africa, situated in Jet Park Johannesburg. To date 2 warehouses of 40 000m2 has been completed, and when park is completed will offer 175 0000m2 of on site warehouse space.

The purchase of the 16 hectare site will place the company in a strategic position that will allow the Group to design, build and manage warehouses that have been built to specific client requirements.

The internal skills and capabilities that the Group has and utilises when developing a warehouse on site to customer specifications are:

Prepare a building specification document which is based on a thorough analysis of the client’s business requirements (incl. Expected growth). The building spec:
  • Details the process flows in the building.
  • Details the internal requirements such as floor space, height, lighting, floor strength etc.
  • Details the internal equipment required to manage the facility optimally and effectively such as forklifts, conveyers etc.
  • Serves as a base document for the total building design to be prepared by the architect.
Prepare a building budget.
Manage the development process.
Manage the budget.
Manage the daily running of the facility on the client’s behalf.

In summary, the outcome of the process that the Group has the ability to deliver is one where a client gets a turn key facility designed to the client’s specific needs.
